In my freshman year of college I was taking the first level composition class. I was a little nervous because I had heard that taking the class would mean a semester of constant writing, editing, and rewriting. My skills in writing weren’t necessarily the best in the world or even my high school class, but I was truly astonished at the level of ability a few fellow students had as freshman at a university. I won’t get into too many specifics about their errors, but lets say “2” was used for “to” and fragments outnumbered complete sentences.
